Isolde at the Toyota Yaris Cup season finale 10th October 2006 This weekend, the Toyota Yaris Cup season finale was held at Oschersleben. Isolde Holderied again looked after the drivers and VIP guests, and on Sunday evening, she enjoyed the concluding championship party. For the last time this season, Isolde was involved in the Toyota Yaris Cup. Quite obviously, she didn’t look after her young fosterlings alone. At the same time, she also was a highly interested spectator. On Saturday, Christiaan Frankenhout – who had succeeded in securing the title early – crowned his season with another superior race win by taking the lead right at the start and defending it until having crossed the finish line. And on Sunday, the Dutchman prevailed again, with Heiko Hammel finishing runner-up in the championship and securing the Rookie title. To conclude the season, drivers and organisers of the Yaris Cup completed some convoy-laps at the “Motorsport Arena Oschersleben” with Isolde also taking part. With hindsight, she said about the season: “I had a lot of fun while executing my Toyota Yaris Cup tasks this year. And it was just the same in the past six years. I always was full of enthusiasm when attending the events.” On Sunday evening, Toyota organised a championship party to conclude the season. With good music and delicious food, the guests celebrated until late in the night. “It was great to celebrate with all those involved,” said Isolde. “Usually, the drivers and parties concerned have to leave early as they have to be fit the following morning. But this time, we all had the chance of enjoying this fine season-finale event." |
