‚Experience Toyota’: Isolde’s fans extremely interested

Within the scope of the event series ‘Experience Toyota’, Isolde currently travels to all parts of Germany. Recently, the former Rally World Champion visited the Nürburgring and as motor-racing expert, she went to Augsburg. After all, the Toyota Brand Ambassador can look back on a row of highly interesting days.

During the fifth VLN round, held at the Nürburgring on 26th May, Isolde was a sought-after person. She offered the guests the chance of taking a look behind the curtains of the Endurance Championship, acted as their guide during a pit-walk and answered questions dealing with the most different motor racing topics. “It was big fun for everybody,” says Isolde, “With the taxi rides on the ring representing a special attraction for the guests.” And there are good news for motor-racing enthusiasts who also are interested in being taken around the ‘Green Hell’, by a professional racing driver: on 12th and 13th October, the weekend of the ninth VLN round, the organisers are going to again offer the opportunity to enjoy a taxi ride.

Just one day later, Isolde travelled to Augsburg to return to the Nürburgring on 2nd June. In the first of a total of six driving-experience practice courses, the entrants had to cope with a handling circuit, a slalom course and several driving exercises. To make their tasks easier, Isolde shared her motor racing experience with the participants. The goal of the course: to improve their driving skills. And again, the taxi rides proved to be a true highlight. This time, the participants had the chance of joining Isolde herself who took them around the track at the wheel of a Toyota production car.

“Everybody was enthusiastic and displayed major interest in improving their driving skills,” says Isolde. “At the same time, the opportunity to test all the Toyota models – from Aygo and  Auris to RAV4, Avensis and Corolla Verso – was a particularly attractive opportunity, helping them to realise the handling differences themselves.” 

On 9th June in Hannover, on 30th June in Grevenbroich and on 14th July in Lüneburg, Isolde will attend further ‘Experience Toyota’ driver courses to provide the entrants with tips and tricks.
